About Nitch

Nitch is an independent publication launched by Dennis Wilman, that's me. Why? Because I like to have a little bit of fun in the world of cars. And I think you should too.

I find it a bit annoying that there seems to be an imaginary bar you need to pass to be able to be accepted into the magical world of cars. And by that I mean you need to be able to name all the engine codes of every BMW ever made while still keeping track of all the types of Porsche 911's that have ever been produced. No, it's not just the 911, there are variants with their own names. So I'm trying to remove that bar with Nitch. Everyone with or without knowledge about cars is welcome here. And above all, very much appreciated to be here.

I do have to warn you: I do also have an opinion. That shouldn't come as a surpise, but in all my professional years as a car journalist, I've found out my opinion doesn't really align with most of the other folks in the car business. So be afraid, very afraid. Or not. I'm not biting, just barking.

So dear reader, as I will be calling you from now on, since I don't know your name, please feel welcome and let's have some fun together. I promise I won't spam you, but I'll be trying to send you at least one email a week. Maybe a bit more, or a bit less.
